GEO-PVCo pipe
GEO-PVCo — OPVC, the reinvented pressure pipe. During extrusion the PVC is stretched in two axes, circumferential and longitudinal, rearranging the molecular chains into strata that sharply raise resistance to shock, punching and crack propagation. The irri-roc® range is built for irrigation main and sub-main networks.
OPVC, reinvented pressure pipe.
Made by Sotra Seperef, a pioneer of bi-orientation with over 20 years of experience. The irri-roc® range serves irrigation main and sub-main pressurised networks; the same process and raw materials produce the bio-roc® range for drinking water, which holds the NF mark and sanitary conformity approval.
Extruded PVC double-stretched in two axes (circumferential and longitudinal), rearranging the molecular chains into strata.
Manufacturing uses up to 50% less raw material than other solutions — lower weight, lower cost, larger internal diameter.
A larger internal diameter lowers pressure loss and pumping energy, cutting both investment and operating cost.
Extremely light — the easiest and fastest pipe to install, with far less heavy machinery for handling and transport.
High resistance to shock, punching and crack propagation, even at low temperature; uniform strength along pipe and socket.
Where irri-roc® fits.
Irrigation mains
The irri-roc® range is purpose-built for the main and sub-main pressurised lines feeding GeoFlow subsurface drip networks.
Drinking water
The sister bio-roc® range, same process and raw materials, carries the NF mark and sanitary conformity approval for potable distribution.
Lower network cost
A lower outside diameter sizes the whole network — pipes, fittings and accessories — for real savings across the system.
Subsurface installation
Can be installed under the surface, with gentle gradients or in ground water, thanks to its impact resistance.
Less material, more pipe.
Bi-orientation rearranges the molecular chains into strata, so the same PVC resists shock, punching and crack propagation far better than ordinary PVC. Using up to 50% less raw material makes the pipe lighter and cheaper while enlarging the bore — which lowers pressure loss and pumping energy, and therefore both investment and operating cost.
